LA Live - 2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition
Jeep has revealed the 2014 Wrangler Willys Wheeler edition at the ongoing 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show. Like the standard Wrangler, power is delivered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that develops 285 bhp and 352 Nm of torque. Gearbox selection includes a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
True to its offroading roots, the Willys edition has a D-ring, tow strap and gloves. It also comes with a Command-Trac 4x4 system, Dana 44 rear axle and a limited slip differential. The Willys model also features a gloss black grille along with gloss black bumper appliques and lots of “Willys” hood decals. It also comes with a tinted Sunrider soft top and with 17-inch wheels.
The Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition will go on sale early next and pricing starts at USD 25,795 (INR 16.08 lakhs) for two-door models and USD 29,595 (INR 18.45 lakhs) for the Unlimited (four-door) models.
