The 2014 Toyota Corolla seems to love the cameras, for it has been caught testing once again. These images were snapped by Team BHP member 'dinu2506' in Indira Nagar, Bangalore.

Even though fully camouflaged, you can easily identify this as the new Corolla.

While Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has covered every surface of the new car with camouflage, the overall profile and the front fascia are easy giveaways in identifying the new Corolla.

The Euro-spec Corolla was unveiled shortly after the American Corolla's world debut this year. In the United States, the new Corolla has commenced production in Toyota's Mississippi plant and shipments to dealers have also begun. The European Corolla on the other hand entered production in Toyota's Sakarya plant in Turkey, though deliveries are yet to start.

Corolla for India will continue with the 1.4-liter D-4D diesel and 1.8-liter petrol engine.

TKM is expected to launch the new Corolla by the middle of 2014. When it goes on sale in India, the new Corolla would be powered by the same 1.4-liter D-4D diesel engine (though it could be retuned to offer better fuel efficiency) and a 1.8-liter VVT-i petrol engine. The diesel would be available with a 6-speed manual transmission only, while the petrol gets a 6-speed manual and a 7-step CVT automatic transmission.

For European markets, the new Corolla will also be available with a 1.33-liter Dual VVT-i engine (also seen on the Toyota iQ which happens to be the smallest Toyota in the world) which promises 17.85km/l.
