Yamaha has unveiled the new MT-07 and the 2014 SR400 at the EICMA 2013, in Milan, Italy.

2014 Yamaha MT-07

The MT-07 is MT-09's/FZ-09's little brother which is built on a steel tube backbone.

The 2014 Yamaha MT-07 draws power from a 689cc parallel-twin engine which delivers 74 bhp @ 9,000 rpm and 67.7 Nm @ 6,500 rpm.

The bike weighs 178 kg and sports a 14-liter fuel tank. ABS brakes would be an optional feature. Like its bigger sibling, the MT-07 sports horizontally mounted preload-adjustable shock absorber connected to the swingarm through a linkage at the rear, and to the crankcase at the front.

2014 Yamaha SR400

The Yamaha SR400 has a heritage of 35 years. Back in 1978, Yamaha had first used the SR400 and the SR500 name on its motorcycles, and at the EICMA, the legend makes a return.

The SR400 is categorized as a 'Yamaha Sport Classic' sporting a very simple and traditional design. The SR400 is also an ideal starting point for custom works.

The bike is propelled by a single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, two-valve engine. To stay true to the original, Yamaha is using a semi-double cradle frame, built from steel pipes. The tank is shaped like the original, but has a capacity of 12 liters.

The 2014 SR400 hits the market in February next year in Black and Matt Grey colors, at a starting price of 5,990 Euros.

More details on both bikes can be found on the press release below.
