2015 Audi A6 (facelift) to launch in India on August 12 - IAB Report
Engines are likely to remain unchanged.
Indian Autos Blog learns that Audi India will launch the 2015 Audi A6 (facelift) on August 12, 2015.
One of the most significant changes on the A6 facelift is the inclusion of the Matrix LED headlights, which are currently offered on the A8 in India, and the recently-launched RS6 Avant. These high-end headlights will also come with Audi’s Dynamic Turn indicators, a mildly revised grille, new front and rear bumpers, and revised taillights with LED bands.
On the inside, the A6 facelift gets new seat and dashboard trims, and a more powerful Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip for the MMI screen. For the European market, the 2015 A6 also receives massage and ventilation options for the seats, though it remains to be seen if Audi offers these features for the Indian market.
The A6 facelift is unlikely to see any mechanical changes. In the Indian market, the sedan is powered by 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI and TFSI engines, mated to Audi's Multitronic CVT gearbox, transmitting power to the front wheels. Irrespective of the engine or variant, the A6 gets an adaptive air suspension system as standard.
