Audi Q3 facelift to launch in India in May 2015 - Report
Will continue to be assembled at the Aurangabad plant.
Inline with an earlier report that the Audi Q3 facelift will launch in India by the first half of this year, MotorOctane reports that the launch will take place in May 2015.
The refreshed Q3 comes with a different front fascia which sees the inclusion of Audi's Singleframe grille, redesigned headlights with optional LED units, and a new bumper. Other changes to the smallest member of Audi's SUV portfolio include LED taillights, optional Dynamic turn indicators and new alloy wheel patterns.
There are no changes to the SUV inside, though features like a power tailgate and a luggage compartment pack can now be specified optionally on the European model.
For the Indian market, the Q3 is expected to continue with its existing mechanicals. A 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine powers the SUV, and it is available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. According to Audi India dealers, the 'S' variant with manual gearbox and the 2.0-liter petrol variant have been discontinued, owing to poor demand.
