Old vs New - 2015 Audi Q3 (facelift) vs older model
Gets sharper fascia.
Audi revealed the 2015 Q3 facelift, and announced that sales in Europe will commence from February 2015. The refreshed compact SUV is expected to launch in India towards the end of 2015, as Audi India procures CKD kits from the Q3's mother plant in Spain (the Q3 made in China is for local consumption only).
The front is where the bulk of the changes lie. Designers have dished out new headlights with optional LED lighting and dynamic turn signals, a new Singleframe grille with silver outlines and a tweaked bumper.
Save for new alloy wheel patterns and a mildly refreshed rear bumper, there are no other changes to the exterior of the car.
Inside, the Q3 facelift gets new feature additions, but the design of the cabin is left unaltered. On-board WiFi with internet radio, an updated MMI Plus infotainment system with navigation and blind spot alert are some of the features that have been included on the Q3.
Mechanically, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder TDI engine gets a power boost of 5 kW (6.7 bhp) and now makes 181 bhp as compared to 174 bhp of the current model. Audi also offers a 138 bhp Q3 S exclusively for the Indian market. The Q3 S gets a front wheel drive layout and a 6-speed manual transmission whereas the Q3 offers Audi's quattro setup with a 7-speed DSG.
