Facelifted model gets minor equipment upgrades.

BMW has launched the facelifted version of the four-door BMW M6 Gran Coupe at their first-ever BMW M Studio in Mumbai. It is priced at INR 1.71 crores (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The changes are minor in the facelifted model. It gets new Adaptive LED headlamps and taillamps and a mildly updated kidney grille. Otherwise, it features the same coupe-esque design that focuses primarily on style.

Under the hood, it's powered by the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine, which produces 560 PS and 680 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 7-speed M-DCT gearbox, enabling the M6 GC to hit 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, before reaching a limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The new BMW M Studio is similar to Mercedes's AMG Performance Center, where they exclusively showcase the respective brand's performance range. BMW is looking to open 7 more M Studios in cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune by end of 2016.

BMW has also announced that they have invested INR 100 crores in the BMW Financial Service, so as to improve the accessibility of a BMW to prospective customers with flexible payment options. This brings the company's total investment in India to INR 1,100 crores.
