2015 Chevrolet Captiva launched in India at INR 25.13 lakhs - IAB Report

General Motors India has introduced the MY 15 Chevrolet Captiva with added features. The ex-showroom Delhi price of the manual variant is INR 25,13,528/- and of the automatic is INR 27,36,192/-.

Cruise control, rain sensing wiper, electric parking brake and sunroof are the new features on the 2015 model.

New features on the car include cruise control, third-row HVAC, electric parking brake, rain-sensing wipers and a sunroof. Also included are a Cluster Ionizer to purify and deodorize cabin and a new instrument cluster.

The Captiva is powered by the same 2.2-liter diesel engine that outputs 186.5 bhp @ 3,800 rpm and 400 Nm @ 2,000 rpm torque paired either to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with All Wheel Drive (AWD). The fuel efficiency for the manual is rated at 14.6 km/l while for the automatic it is 12.12 km/l.

The Captiva was given a facelift last year which saw it receive new grille, bumpers and lights.

Mr. Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India, said: “The launch of the all new MY 15 Captiva is in line with our business plan of capturing the all important SUV market and growing our market share."
