2015 Chevrolet Trailblazer launched - Thailand
Better soundproofing, updated interior, and new body colours.
Chevrolet Sales Thailand has launched the MY2015 Chevrolet Trailblazer, priced starting at 1,095,000 Baht (INR 20.85 lakhs), going all the way up to 1,465,000 Baht (INR 27.9 lakhs).
The 7-seater SUV is available in three trim levels, LT, LTZ, and LTZ1. It now gets LED taillamps, and a new 'Satin Steel Gray' paint option. On the inside, a new leather interior finished in 'Brown Stone' colour, Piano Black treatment for the dashboard, centre console, and steering wheel have been added. GM says it has added extra sound deadening for a more noise-free cabin.
Mechanically the vehicle remains unchanged and is offered with two diesel engine options: a 2.5-litre unit that makes 163 hp at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm; and a 2.8-litre engine which produces 200 hp at 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. Both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes are available, while 4WD system is available only on the top-spec LTZ1 version.
In terms of safety features, it gets dual front airbags, and various driving aids including Traction Control, Brake Assist, EBD, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start and Descent systems.
The Trailblazer LTZ1 comes equipped with a touchscreen based MyLink infotainment system that packs in satellite navigation, DVD playback, and other smartphone connectivity features.

GM India showcased the Trailblazer at the Auto Expo last year, but hasn't committed to launching it.
