2015 Daihatsu Terios (facelift) front exposed - Spied
May not have mechanical improvements.
The Daihatsu Terios (the cousin to the Toyota Rush) mini SUV will get a facelift this year and here is another image from Indonesia revealing the front of the vehicle.
The facelift features a bolder styling with a new front fascia, a more aggressive bumper, LED daytime running lights and a prominent chrome grille. The rear, as seen previously, has softer changes with a new taillamp sporting integrated LED units, a redesigned bumper and spare wheel housing.
The Terios facelift could hold on to the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT motor capable of 107.4 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. It comes with either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission.
The current generation Terios/Rush was spied testing in India recently but sources say that the car is a benchmark mule for a rival car maker, some say Tata Motors. The current Rush may not launch in India as it has the passed the half-way point in its lifecycle and does not feature a diesel engine.
