Bookings underway at dealerships.

Honda Cars India have launched a website for the new 2015 Jazz, which has its market introduction scheduled for July 8, 2015. The website gives prospective buyers a brief look at the new premium hatchback, and also accepts test-drive requests.

Prior to its Indian launch, Honda Cars India already started exporting the Jazz to the South African market.

Dealers of Honda Cars India have started accepting bookings for the new Jazz, with the booking amount being INR 51,000. However, neither the dealers or the website reveals the variant-wise features of the new Jazz, or even the number of variants the car will come in. Reports estimate the new Jazz to come in a total of 12 variants.

The website gives out essential technical information of the Jazz, such as its engines and fuel efficiency figures. The Jazz diesel is powered by the 1.5-liter i-DTEC engine delivering 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. It has an ARAI-rated efficiency of 27.3 km/l, making it India's second most fuel efficient diesel passenger vehicle.

The VX variants of the Jazz will get a 6.2-inch touchscreen AVN system.
