Goes on sale in Europe this month.

Scheduled to go on sale in the European markets this month, the 2015 Hyundai i30 has made its appearance at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Refreshed exterior, quieter interior, improved mechanicals, and a new i30 Turbo model (pictured) round up the update.

There are a total of seven engine options, which include the units available on the i30 previously, a newly developed 1.4-litre petrol engine, and a 186 PS 1.6-litre turbo petrol that will be available only on the i30 Turbo. The 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines will come mated to the new 7-speed DCT.

The Hyundai i30 Turbo, showcased here, is developed at the car maker's testing facility based in the Nurburgring. Over the standard car, it gets the above mentioned 186 PS engine, better dynamics (thanks to a tuned suspension and steering setup), and certain design elements both on the outside (different grille, special detailing on bumpers, twin exhausts, 18-inch wheels etc.) and inside (sports seats, red detailing on the steering, door knob, etc.).
