The new Alto K10 cost Maruti INR 200 crores to develop.

The new Maruti Alto K10 is based on the Alto 800's body, however designers have dished out an all-new interior for the car which has nothing in common with the old K10, or even the Alto 800.

The center console gets a piano-black finish with an integrated music system.

The dual-tone dashboard is finished in black on top and beige at the bottom. The center console gets a piano-black finish, and an integrated music system with CD/MP3/Radio/USB/AUX-in is installed on the top-end variant. Just below rests the controls for the AC, which now use modern rotary dials.

Over to the driver's side, a new 3-spoke steering wheel and a redesigned instrument cluster with orange highlights give the new K10 a fresh look. Seen here is the AMT variant, and the gearlever is identical to that of the Celerio's. The seats are upholstered in beige, and the front seat backs are scooped for better rear knee-room.

The new K10 gets a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT (pictured).
