IAB Report - 2015 Skoda Fabia's interior revealed with MirrorLink tech

Enters production later this month.

Skoda has released the first interior image of the new Fabia, nearly a week after the car's official announcement. The Czech carmaker particularly talks about the car's new MirrorLink technology which allows smartphone apps to be displayed on the screen of the infotainment system.

The new Fabia gets MirrorLink technology for smartphone integration.

An elegantly designed 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel is seen in front of an instrument cluster carrying the traditional Skoda font for the speedo and tachometer. The center console has a minimalist approach to it, and houses the controls for the automatic AC system, AUX-in, USB and the power outlet.

The dashboard as such is finished in a dual tone black-and-white shade, which to some extent reminds us of the VW Up!.

The new hatchback is powered by three- and four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
