2015 Toyota Avanza (facelift) spied completely undisguised - Spied

Debut likely at GIIAS 2015 on August 20.

Following spyshots of the top-spec Toyota Avanza Veloz variant, AutonetMagz have posted images of the standard model completely undisguised. Reports suggest that the 2015 Toyota Avanza will make its debut at the 2015 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show).

The 2015 Toyota Avanza gets an upright front-end, new headlamps and bolder chrome bar housing the Toyota logo.

As seen before, the 2015 Toyota Avanza gets minor exterior upgrades such as an upright front end with new swept-back headlights that flow into a larger grille, and a re-profiled front bumper. The side profile remain identical to the outgoing model. Although the rear is not shown here, previous spyshots have indicated that it gets updated taillamps with new reflectors connected at both ends by a large chrome bar.

The Avanza's interior is expected to remain largely identical to the outgoing model, save for equipment and small design upgrades. The top-end model could get dual front airbags, ABS, a 2-DIN music system with AUX and USB and tilt-adjustable steering.

The outgoing Toyota Avanza's engines will be carried over to the facelifted model, which includes a 1.3- and 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT-i petrol engines paired to manual or automatic transmissions. The smaller 1.3-liter engine develops 92 PS and 119 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter unit produces 104 PS and 139 Nm of torque.
