2015 Toyota Camry (facelift) to launch in India on April 30 - IAB Report
No changes to the powertrain of the Camry and Camry Hybrid.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will launch the 2015 Camry (facelift) on April 30 in New Delhi. 2015 being a year of consolidation for the Japanese car maker, the Camry facelift and the Hiace MPV will be the major launches from TKM this year.
The Camry facelift, which was spied in India recently, gets an all-new front fascia with redesigned headlight enclosures and LED daytime running lights. The front bumper is now made more aggressive and gets a large chrome-bordered airdam with circular foglight enclosures.
LED taillight clusters, a chrome strip on the bootlid and new 17-inch alloy wheels will be the other changes on the exterior of the sedan. Inside, the 2015 Camry will get a new 3-spoke steering wheel, an all-new 4.2-inch instrument cluster and a larger 6.1-inch central infotainment system. On certain variants of the new Camry sold internationally, Toyota also offers a Qi wireless charging system, though it remains to be seen if its on offer on the Indian model.

There will be no changes to the engines or gearboxes of the Camry facelift. On offer is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.5-liter petrol engine paired to an electric motor. The 2.5L Camry produces 181 PS and 233 Nm of torque, while the Hybrid is rated at 205 PS.
Both variants are assembled at TKM's plant in Bidadi, Karnataka.
