Toyota is introducing the 2015MY Prius c and Prius v at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
2015 Toyota Prius c
Changes to the 2015 Toyota Prius c are modest with the front fascia revised with new grille, bumper and and LED headlamps. At the back, a new rear bumper, shark-fin antenna, fresh taillights and three body paints are new: Electric Lime Metallic, Tangerine Splash Pearl and Sparkling Sea Metallic. The material quality and NVH are claimed to have improved in the cabin.
The car is powered by the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 73 bhp and 111 Nm of torque, paired to an electric motor that gives it a combined output of 99 bhp.
2015 Toyota Prius v
The 2015 Prius v has debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a fresh bumper, redesigned grille and new headlights. The colour choices now include Absolutely Red, Toasted Walnut Pearl and Attitude Black Metallic.
Changes to the cabin include a new 8-way adjustable driver's seat, a 6.1-inch display and new infotainment system, while more expensive variants come with a 4.2-inch TFT display that displays climate control and navigation screens.
The car is powered by the same 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle engine and an electric motor to produce a combined output of 134 bhp.
