2015 VW Jetta (facelift) spotted at a dealership ahead of Feb 17 launch - Spied
The facelifted car will be launched on February 17.
The 2015 VW Jetta (facelift) will be launched on February 17, but it appears that VW has started to dispatch the cars to dealerships already. While the car has been spotted on test in the past, the recent CarSizzler report adds detail to what all has been updated in the facelifted version.
On the outside, the VW Jetta facelift has new bumpers, the fog lamp enclosure is now a square, the grille now has three slats, and the LED taillamps are new, too. The changes inside include a new steering wheel (as seen on the new Polo and new Vento) with buttons for cruise control and audio.
Other features expected but not yet confirmed include a GPS-equipped infotainment system, which isn't seen on the TDI manual version spotted by the publication. Same goes for the glossy black finish which is not seen on the version, instead it only gets wood inserts while a grey-beige dual-tone theme continues. New engines with identical capacities as the current car i.e. 1.4-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TDI are also expected. Gearbox options are likely to remain unchanged with 6-speed manual and optional DSG automatic being available as before.
