2015 VW Polo Sedan (facelift) unveiled in Russia - IAB Report
Identical to the VW Vento facelift with new front and rear fascias.
Simultaneously, VW Russia has unveiled the 2015 VW Polo sedan facelift today. The car is identical to the VW Vento facelift except for the headlamps which get bi-xenon and LED cluster, and a chrome garnish on the front fender.
Compared to the outgoing Polo sedan, the car gets a new 3D grille, headlamps with optional bi-xenon system and LED daytime running lights, revised fender, redesigned bumper with chrome embellishing, new wheel cap and alloy wheel design, and a new beige body colour.
The cabin gets some freshness with a new three spoke steering wheel, a modified center console that's same as the Indian model but with a more contrasting colour combination, and new beige upholstery.
The engine compartment is unchanged with the 2015 VW Polo sedan sporting the 1.6-liter petrol engine with 85 PS or 105 PS output. It is paired to either a 5-speed manual gearbox (entry-level trim) or a 6-speed automatic (high-end trims).
As usual, three trim levels will be retailed - Trendline, Comfortline and Highline - and as standard, the car gets an air conditioner, front and rear power windows, central locking and dual front airbags, while side curtain airbags is an optional extra.
The 2015 VW Polo Sedan will be manufactured in Kaluga for Russian consumption and sales will open in mid-June.
