2015 VW Vento (facelift) for India is 7.5% more fuel efficient - IAB Report
Gets cruise control in addition to many features.
VW India are gearing up to launch the Vento facelift, which gets a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades to better compete with models such as the Honda City and Maruti Ciaz. While the engines of the VW Vento facelift are the same as the current Vento, VW India has confirmed a 7.5 percent improvement in fuel efficiency.
However, the press release issued by the company fails to mention the engine that gets the fuel efficiency improvement (the Vento is sold in India with 1.2-liter TSI, 1.6-liter petrol and 1.5-liter TDI engines) though sources say its the 1.5-liter TDI which will return better mileage.
On the feature front, the 2015 VW Vento gets a dead-pedal, a chilled glovebox, cruise control, an external boot release button, wing mirror mounted LED turn signals and electric-folding feature. The interior of the Polo-based sedan will come in 'Walnut desert beige' on the Highline trim and 'Cloud Titanschwarz' for the Trendline and Comfortline variants.

Changes seen at the rear include a new bumper with chrome inserts, a chrome-lined exhaust tip, a chrome strip on the bootlid, and new taillights with revised internals.
The Vento facelift is expected to launch next month in India.
