2015 Audi TT, 2016 Audi Q7 - GIIAS 2015

Audi Indonesia (PT Garuda Mataram Motor) has brought the 2016 Audi TT and Audi Q7 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2015 (GIIAS 2015).

The 2015 Audi TT revealed last year is based on VW’s MQB platform and has shed 50 kg over the previous generation. The car is also longer than the outgoing version with an increase in wheelbase by 37 mm.

The Audi TT is powered by a choice of 2.0-liter, four cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The 2.0 TDI produces 184 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The 2.0 TFSI powers the petrol TT and the high-performance TTS. In the TT, it generates 230 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque from 1,600 rpm to 4,300 rpm, and is the engine offered for Indonesia.

Features that come as standard on the new TT are turbine AC vents with integrated controls for the temperature system, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, voice recognition, and leather upholstery. The sports car also debuts the new Audi Virtual Cockpit system that boasts of a 12.3-inch TFT screen powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 graphics processor.

In Indonesia, the car is priced at 1.955 billion IDR (INR 93.63 lakhs).

2016 Audi Q7

The 2016 Audi Q7 unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show this year sits on the MLB Evo platform and therefore is 325 kg lighter than its predecessor.

The new Q7 is powered by a choice of 3.0-liter V6 TDI and TFSI engines. The 3.0-liter V6 TFSI produces 333 bhp and 440 Nm while the 3.0-liter V6 diesel (TDI) produces 272 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. All the engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all wheels through the Quattro system. Only the former is available to Indonesian customers.

The new Q7 gets features such as Audi’s Matrix LED lighting system, a new 7-inch MMI system with touchpad, Virtual Cockpit with a 12.3-inch TFT display, a 3D surround sound system from Bang & Olufsen, tablets for rear seat passengers and Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

The new Q7 measures 5.05 meters in length, 1.97 meters in width and 1.74 meters in height with a 2.99 meters wheelbase.

The SUV is priced at IDR 1.425 billion (INR 68.18 lakhs).
