2016 BMW M4 GTS - 2015 Tokyo Live
Features a water injection system.
The 2016 BMW M4 GTS made its motor show debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, following its unveil as a near-production concept at the Monterey Car Week in Pebble Beach.
Only 700 units of the BMW M4 GTS will be made, and is the first sports car to feature a water injection system. This has resulted in more power from the 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-6 engine, which now produces 493 bhp and nearly 600 Nm of torque.
The M4 GTS also features significant aero upgrades, such as a meaner front splitter, a large rear wing, and an exclusive multi-spoke alloy rim option.
It is nearly 90 kg lighter than the regular M4, thanks to extensive use of CFRP (carbon-fiber reinforced plastic) and lighter materials, as well as the removal of the rear seats, leaving space for a roll cage.
