The 2016 Hyundai Tucson will be positioned between the Creta and Santa Fe in India.

The Tucson is likely to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The former will pack the 2.0L MPI four cylinder engine from the 2016 Hyundai Elantra, which produces 152 PS and 195 Nm of torque, while the latter could be powered by a bigger 2.0L (1,995 cc) CRDi engine available in power outputs of 136 PS and 184 PS. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic for both variants, while an AWD system could be optional on the diesel variant.

Top end grades of the Tucson will come generously equipped with features like 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, 10 way power-operated driver’s seat with ventilation, dual-zone climate control, HID headlights and LED taillights, anti-pinch sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen system with reverse camera and navigation, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, six airbags, keyless entry with push-button start and vehicle stability management.

The Tucson is likely to be offered in both petrol and diesel variants.
