Gets a new Uconnect infotainment system with 5-inch display.

The 2016 Lancia Ypsilon (facelift) has premiered at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA 2015). Lancia claims that the new facelift is a "fresh, modern take on its unique personality".

It measures 384 cm in length, 168 wide, 152 high, with 239 cm wheelbase. The exterior retains the curvaceous design, but is updated with features like a revised front bumper, a new honeycomb mesh grille and a set of larger foglamps. Lancia have also included two new colors to the palette: "Chic Ivory" and "Blu di Blu".

The interior gets an updated seat upholstery and a renovated dashboard with new textures. A new gear knob is provided and the instrument cluster has been improved for better readability.

The most prominent equipment upgrade would be the new standard Uconnect infotainment system with a five-inch screen that will be offered as standard from Gold variants.

Powertrain choices include five engines - a 1.2-litre motor that can produce 69 PS (50 kW) maximum power, a 0.9-litre TwinAir Turbo unit with output rated at 85 PS (62 kW), a 1.3-litre Multijet mill capable of 95 PS (69 kW), a 1.2-litre LPG/Petrol engine pushing 69 PS (50 kW), and a 0.9-litre TwinAir Turbo Methane/Petrol motor producing 80 PS (58 kW).
