The company is betting on the new Fortuner and Innova to increase their plant capacity utilization, which is currently working at 50 percent.

The engine plant in question will be located in Jigani, Karnataka, and will produce Toyota's new GD range of diesel engines for their future products, which include the downsized 2.4- and 2.8-liter motors.
