Toyota Astra Motor has launched a facelifted version of the Toyota Rush in Indonesia, which is priced from Rp.233 million to Rp. 262.45 million (INR 11.3 lakhs to INR 13.44 lakhs). It is available in four grades spread across six variants.
The facelift introduces a redesigned front bumper which features a two-tone effect finish and a faux carbon-fibre finish under the grille. There are contrasting chrome and red lines running across the radiator grille, which connect the two projector headlamps. At the back, the taillamp clusters have been updated to feature a combination of LEDs and a smoked lens. The Rush also gets new 16-inch alloy wheels for the top-end Sportivo variant.
Inside, the Toyota Rush is equipped with a new steering wheel design from the Avanza, a redesigned instrument cluster, new seat upholstery, and reshaped second-row headrests. Standard features in all variants include a two-DIN CD player with MP3, USB and Bluetooth support paired with a six-speaker audio system and rear HVAC vents with separate blower controls.
Under the hood of the 2016 Toyota Rush is the same 1.5 litre VVT-i petrol four-cylinder engine, which makes 109 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is available with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.
