The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets two new colour options and a BSIV compliant mill.

Bajaj Auto showcased the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 at the Autocar Performance Show. The motorcycle, when launched in 2015, became their first fully faired bike.

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gains two new colour options, grey and blue.

At the heart of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is a 199.5 cc single cylinder mill shared with the Pulsar 200NS and the Pulsar AS200. Using a fuel injection system instead of a carburettor, and coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, it is capable of producing 24.5 PS of maximum power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm.

The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 also gains BSIV compliance. All motorcycles sold in India as per a government mandate will have to be BSIV compliant from April 2017.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 measures 1,999 mm in length, 765 mm in width and 1,114 mm in height. It tips the scales at 165 kg and has a ground clearance of 157 mm. The bike gets a 300 mm disc with a single-channel ABS up front and a 230 mm disc in the rear. Other features include a twin projector headlamps, crystal LED taillamps and tubeless tyres.

While the blue paint scheme is new, the grey option had been showcased recently at a dealer event in Turkey.

Mechanical changes only include upgradations of the mill from BSIII to BSIV compliance.

The BSIII version of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 carries a price tag of INR 121,288 for the non-ABS version and INR 133,230 for ABS trim (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Expect a small price bump for the BSIV version.
