Next-gen Chevrolet Beat with beige interior spied in Delhi
Will spawn a crossover and sub-4m sedan as well.
Bunny Punia Auto Blog India has posted a spyshot of the next-gen Chevrolet Beat testing in Delhi. It's expected to launch in India in early 2017, and will spawn a crossover (Chevrolet Beat Activ) and sub-4m sedan (Chevrolet Beat Essentia) as well.
Although the test mule is heavily covered up, Chevrolet has revealed the exterior of the next gen Beat, which is nearly similar to the international-spec Chevrolet Spark. More of a heavy facelift than a next generation, the 2017 Chevrolet Beat gets an updated 2-part grille flanked by large headlamps, chrome embellishment on the grille and headlamps, roof rails, round foglamps, new taillamps and a re-positioned registration plate area.
Changes inside are likely to be limited to a new dual-tone dashboard housing a 7-inch MyLink infotainment system and a revised bike-inspired instrument cluster. Improvements to the build quality as well as materials are also expected.

The next gen Beat will continue riding on the outgoing Beat’s M300 platform. The engine lineup is reported to include a 1.0L petrol engine, and the currently featuring 1.0L TCDi diesel engine.
