2017 Ford EcoSport reveals more of its face in new spyshots
Will be unveiled on 14 November.
With just days to the new model's world premiere in Los Angeles, Ford is continuing the 2017 Ford EcoSport's testing in Brazil. Autos Segredos reader Brenno Metzker has captured the facelifted EcoSport being in Bahia.
As evident in the spy shots, the facelifted Ford EcoSport adopts a new grille layout reminiscent of the bigger models like the Ford Edge and Ford Kuga, and features a restyled bumper on the front. Currently under the wraps, the headlamps and fog lamps too see changes. Changes at the rear may include new tail light graphics and restyled bumper.
With the facelift, the Ford EcoSport's interior would be thoroughly revised to extend the compact SUVs life until 2020. Redesigned steering wheel, instrument panel and centre console are expected in the model. It has been reported that the SYNC 3 infotainment system will also make it to the Blue Oval's smallest SUV.

The 2017 Ford EcoSport will reportedly be available with a new 1.5-litre 'Dragon' three-cylinder petrol engine in some markets like Brazil and possibly India. The 1.0-, 1.5- and 2.0-litre petrol engines and the 1.5-litre diesel engine will continue being offered. The new Ford EcoSport will be sold in the USA too, where it will be sourced from India.
