2017 Ford Fiesta 5-door spied in UK
All-new Ford Fiesta due next year.
With the sixth generation Ford Fiesta nearing the end of its life, Ford is working on the seventh generation Ford Fiesta for a launch next year. In the latest, the 2017 Ford Fiesta has been spied in the UK, courtesy Autocar.
Ford is readying the 2017 Ford Fiesta hatchback in 3- and 5-door forms; the latter is seen in the new spyshots while the former was spied last month, also in the UK. Like the current model, the next-gen should be offered in sedan and estate versions as well.
The seventh-gen Fiesta will reportedly be bigger than the sixth-gen Fiesta which is 3,969 mm-long, 1,709 mm-wide and 1,468 mm-tall. The new generation model will be based on the B-platform that underpins the current model as well.

The 2017 Ford Fiesta could be offered exclusively with EcoBoost turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine(s) in Europe. This can help it distance itself further from the Ford Ka+ which is available only with a naturally aspirated engine. The ST variant will likely continue being powered by a 1.6-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. The 2017 Ford Fiesta hatchback should debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, and its sedan and/or estate version(s) can be expected to follow later in 2017.
