2017 Honda Lead 125 showcased at Vietnam Motorcycle Show

Honda Vietnam has sold 1.5 million units of the Honda Lead since it was introduced in 2008.

The 2017 Honda Lead 125 has been showcased at the Vietnam Motorcycle Show. The bike gets a slim body style with new lighting. The fuel economy has been increased while the scooter also gains a smart key system.

The 2017 Honda Lead 125 is claimed to be 2.4 percent more fuel efficient than the present generation model.

The front fascia of the 2017 Honda Lead 125 gets a new V-shaped chrome insert, which looks sharp, and new LED positioning lights. The instrumentation has also been updated while the front storage gains 500 ml space. The lock and keys have been completely replaced with a compact fob.

The foot board of the 2017 Honda Lead 125 gets printed in an anti-slippery pattern to bring more rider comfort. The output figures for the new version has not been revealed. The outgoing model of the Honda Lead was powered by a 124.92 cc fuel injected mill producing 11.48 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 11.6 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.

The 2017 Honda Lead is claimed to be 2.4 percent more economical thanks to variable speed characteristics and ignition timing.

The 2017 Honda Lead 125 also gains a new front fascia design and an increase in volume of 500 ml in the front storage.

Price details for the 2017 Honda Lead 125 will be revealed on August 3, 2017.
