New design elements that will make its way into the international-spec Creta and China-spec ix25 as a mid-cycle refresh, include a larger hexagonal grille, slightly tweaked headlamps with feature LED daytime running lights, restyled bumper housing a new central and a pair of horizontal fog lamps. At the rear, the Brazilian-spec Creta features new taillight cluster design and a reprofiled bumper.
For the Brazilian market, the Hyundai Creta will come with two engine options: a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine that produces 130 cv (130 hp) at 6,300 rpm and 16.5 kgf-m (161.81 Nm) of torque at 4,850 rpm, and a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine that develops 166 cv (166 hp) at 6,200 rpm and 20.5 kgf-m (201.04 Nm) of torque at 4,700 rpm.

The 1.6L variant can be had with a manual or automatic transmission, while the 2.0L engine will only be sold with an automatic gearbox. Like the India-spec Creta, an AWD system is not available as an option, which is otherwise offered in the China-spec ix25.
