2017 Hyundai Verna spied completely undisguised

The third generation Hyundai Verna has been spied undisguised for the first time on Indian soil. These images have been shared by TeamBHP user RavenAvi and reveal the nose and tail light glow pattern of the 2017 Verna.

While the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language continues on the Verna, it has been infused with Hyundai's latest signature styling touches such as the 'Cascading' grille.

The spy picture reveals the front end of the new Hyundai Verna which is identical to the new Hyundai Accent that made its debut in Canada in February and the Hyundai Solaris on sale in Russia. The nose features Hyundai's signature cascading grille design along with chrome lined fog lamp enclosures. The presence of projector headlamps with LED lamps and generous use of chrome suggest this is the top of the line SX trim.

Also visible in the latest spy shots of the 2017 Hyundai Verna is the tail lamp detailing. The split tail light design gets LED detailing. According to the details shared on the page, the new Verna is 4,405 mm long, 1,729 mm wide and 1,469 mm tall. It rides on a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, an increment of 30 mm over the car it replaces. All this means the new Verna is 30 mm longer, 29 mm wider and 6 mm lower than the outgoing model.

Top of the line SX trims of the Verna will get projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail light detailing and diamond cut alloy wheels.

Hyundai dealerships across India are currently accepting bookings unofficially for the all-new Verna ahead of its launch this month. The company has also released teaser images of the front and the interior of the car, along with a teaser video.
