2017 Hyundai Verna to be exported from India in H2 2017 - Report

Will go into production from H2 2017 in India reportedly.

Speaking to ET Auto, Hyundai India's Managing Director, Mr. Y K Koo, has divulged that India will be one of the production hubs of the next generation 2017 Hyundai Verna.

Currently, it's unclear which markets will receive the India-made Hyundai Verna.

Mr Koo was quoted saying:

We are planning to make a new version of the Verna next year in the second half. India is one of the countries which will see increased exports of the Verna. The volume for Verna exports is yet to be finalised, but it will be significant.

Like the Hyundai Creta, the HMIL plant could churn out both LHD and RHD versions for export to a number of markets across the globe. As of now, it's unclear which markets will receive the India-made Hyundai Verna.

The 2017 Hyundai Verna made its debut at the 2016 Chengdu Motor Show, featuring an all new exterior and interior.
