Will reportedly be launched in H2 2017.

With the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 now on sale, HMIL will put focus on the 2017 Hyundai Xcent. The facelifted model was recently spied testing in Chennai by team-BHP forum member srinath34.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent features new horizontal wraparound tail lamps, a new boot lid with chrome applique and new design bumper at the rear.

With the facelift, the Hyundai Xcent will get new horizontal wraparound tail lamps, a new boot lid with chrome applique and spoiler, and new design bumper at the rear. The front-end should incorporate changes from the facelifted Hyundai Grand i10, including a new upper grille and lower grille, and modified bumper with integrated daytime running lights beside fog lamps. New design alloy wheel/wheel cover may be the only change on the sides.

On the inside, the biggest change would be the old multimedia system being swapped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which offers smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link, as well as voice recognition with a dedicated voice recognition button on the steering wheel. Basic trim levels may have to do with a 5.0-inch colour touchscreen audio system, however.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent will likely get the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10's new 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent would retain the current model's 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 11.6 kgm of torque at 4,000 rpm. For those preferring the diesel model, Hyundai will offer the new 1.2-litre U2 CRDi three-cylinder diesel engine that develops 75 PS at 4,000 rpm and 19.4 kgm of torque at 1,750-2,250 rpm on the Grand i10.

The facelifted Hyundai Xcent will launch in the coming months.
