2017 KTM Duke 200 spied in India ahead of its launch
The KTM Duke 200 will continue to be manufactured at Chakan, Pune.
Days ahead of the launch, new spy pics have come up of the KTM Duke 200, thanks to Motoroids, which raises hopes that KTM India might be planning to launch the 2017 model.
The existing KTM Duke 200 is powered by the same 199.5 cc fuel injected, liquid-cooled mill which is capable of producing 25 PS of maximum power. The output in the 2017 model is expected to be the same as the existing version. The bike will also gain BSIV compliance which is set to be compulsory for all motorcycles in India from April 1, 2017.
The bike gets a similar design philosophy as the 2017 KTM Duke 390 but misses out on the upgrades like ride by wire and slipper clutch. The instrumentation remains the old LCD unit and not the swanky TFT unit from the new Duke 390. Braking includes disc brakes all around while the ABS might continue to be missed.

The 2017 Duke 200 also gets a bigger 13.4-litre fuel tank which will help the bike record a longer range. The headlamp too is the same halogen setup and not the LED from the Duke 390.
The 2017 KTM Duke 200 is expected to be launched on 23 February 2017, along with the new Duke 390.
