Will pack a 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine, reportedly.

The next generation Suzuki Swift Sport is expected to go official next year. To offer a better look at its exterior, IAB's graphic artist, Shoeb R Kalania, has created a rendering of the hot hatchback based on leaked images from a dealer conference.

The next Swift Sport is likely to replace the 1.6-liter VVT N/A engine for a new 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine.

As seen in the render, the next gen Suzuki Swift Sport will feature an upright front end that comprises of a gaping hexagonal grille, larger intakes, smaller headlamps with LED DRLs, and large alloy wheels. The rear-end gets a roof spoiler, dual exhaust pipes, and a floating roof impression.

The next Swift Sport is likely to replace the 1.6-liter VVT N/A engine for a new 1.4-liter Boosterjet engine from the Euro-spec Suzuki Vitara S, which produces 136 PS and 220 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a CVT gearbox and an ALLGRIP AWD system.

The regular Maruti Swift/Suzuki Swift will feature a slightly less aggressive design, but shares some of the elements with the Swift Sport. Engine lineup could include a 1.2L K-Series and 1.0L Boosterjet as petrol options, while the 1.3L DDiS could be replaced with Suzuki’s self-developed diesel engine.
