2017 Suzuki Access 125 gains BSIV compliance and AHO

Suzuki Access 125 is Suzuki India’s flagship automatic scooter.

The Suzuki Access 125 has been updated to meet the upcoming BSIV emission norms. All two-wheelers will have to meet BSIV norms by April 1, 2017. The scooter also gains Auto Headlamp On (AHO).

The new 2017 Suzuki Access 125 gains a new colour option, BSIV compliance and Auto Headlamp On (AHO).

The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124 cc single cylinder, air cooled, SOHC mill which is coupled to a CVT. The engine is capable of producing 8.7 PS of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The scooter continues to use a carburetted fuelling system and gets a kick as well as an electric starter.

The weight of the BSIV compliant Suzuki Access 125 remains the same at 102 kg (wet). The front brake gets an optional disc while the rear remains a drum unit. The scooter gets 90/90 12 inch wheel in the front and 90/100 10 inch in the rear and both the tyres are tubeless. The scooter has a ground clearance is 160 mm and has a seat height of 780 mm.

The features list includes multifunction digital instrumentation, optional DC socket and a claimed longest seat and under-seat storage in the segment. It also gains a new Metallic Sonic Silver paint bring the total number of colour options to 6.

The Suzuki Access 125 measures 1,870 mm in length, 655 mm in width and 1,160 mm in width. Suzuki also retails a special edition of the scooter by the name Suzuki Access 125 SE which too is expected to meet the upcoming emission norms soon.

The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124 cc mill capable of producing 8.7 PS of maximum power and 10.2 Nm of peak torque.

The Suzuki Access 125 BSIV has been priced at INR 54,302 for the drum brake variant and INR 57,615 for the disc brake trim (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Both the variants have undergone a price hike of less than INR 500.
