2017 Yamaha FZ150i launched in Vietnam

The Yamaha FZ150i borrows the powertrain from the Yamaha R15 v2.0.

Yamaha Vietnam has introduced the 2017 Yamaha FZ150i. The naked motorcycle gains a minor colour update, but the mechanicals remains as the 2016 model.

Housed in the deltabox frame is a 150 cc single cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel injected mill. Coupled to 5-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 16.6 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

The 2017 Yamaha FZ150i has a 12-litre fuel tank and a 165 mm ground clearance. The kerb weight is pegged at just 129 kg and the seat height is an accessible 790 mm. It gets disc brakes at both ends while the front and rear wheel get 90/80-17 and 120/70-17 specification tyres respectively.

Yamaha Vietnam will be offering a 3 year/30,000 km warranty with the 2017 Yamaha FZ150i which is at par with what the company offers in the segment in Vietnam.

The 150 cc liquid-cooled mill in the 2017 Yamaha FZ150i produces 16.6 PS of power and 14.5 Nm of torque.

The 2017 Yamaha FZ150i has been priced at VND 68,900,000 which is VND 11 million less than the price of the Yamaha TFX 150 (Yamaha M-Slaz).
