2018 Honda CBR 250R & 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R launched officially

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has officially launched the 2018 Honda CBR 250R and the 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R. Both motorcycles were unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo earlier this year in February.

The 2018 Honda CBR 250R retains the design language of the older generation motorcycle, but the halogens are replaced with LED headlights. The bike gets new colour options with new graphics. The CBR 250R gets three new sporty colours: Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Mars Orange, Matte Axis Grey Metallic with Striking Green, and Pearl Sports Yellow, in addition to existing Sports Red. The bike is available both in ABS and non-ABS version, with prices starting from INR 1,63,584 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The dual-channel ABS variant costs INR 1,93,107, ex-showroom, Delhi.

The 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R features a new LED headlamp and hazard lamp function. The refreshed digital instrumentation gets a blue backlight. The bike also comes with refreshed graphics and colours. The new low-maintenance seal chain improves the chain reliability. A single channel ABS is now available as an option.

Honda has slightly detuned the bike's engine. It now makes 15 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 14.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm, compared to 15.25 PS and 14.76 Nm at the same rpm, respectively.

The 2018 Honda CB Hornet 160R is available in a new Dazzle Yellow Metallic colour along with the four existing options: Athletic Blue Metallic, Striking Green, Mars Orange, and Sports Red. The bike is available in 4 variants - Standard (front disc, rear drum); CBS (front and rear disc); ABS standard (front disc, rear drum); ABS deluxe (front and rear disc). Prices start from INR 84,675, ex-showroom, for the Standard version. The CBS variant costs INR 89,175, and the ABS Standard variant is priced at INR 90,175. The ABS Deluxe version will set you back by INR 92,675. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
