2018 Honda Grom confirmed for the US market

The Honda Grom 125 is also retailed under the Honda MSX125 badging in certain markets.

Apart from the 2018 Honda CB650F and Honda CBR650F, Honda USA has also confirmed the 2018 Honda Grom for the market.

The 2018 Honda Grom in the US market gains optional ABS.

The Honda Grom in the US gained new headlight, new two-step seat, new bodywork, and a new muffler in 2017. The compact size of the vehicle helps it be a great learner’s ride as well as a lightweight street ride for the experienced.

The bike is suspended over 31 mm upside down fork up front and a monoshock in the rear. Brakes include a 220 mm disc brake in the front with dual piston calliper and a 190 mm unit in the rear with a single piston calliper. ABS, just like the European model, can be expected to be present only in the front wheel. The Honda Grom has a 5.5-litre fuel tank has a claimed fuel efficiency of 66 km/l. The bike has a registered kerb weight of 101.7 kg.

Powering the Honda Grom is a 124.9 cc air-cooled, two-valve, single cylinder mill coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of 9.79 PS of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 10.9 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Colour options include Pearl White, Bright Yellow, Matte Grey Metallic and Pearl Red.

The Honda Grom, which is also known as Honda MSX 125, gets a 124.9 cc mill producing 9.79 PS of power and 10.9 Nm of torque.

The 2018 Honda Grom will be available in the US from August 2017. The price tag for the MY2018 model has not been revealed yet but is expected to be slightly higher than the USD 3,299 sticker price of the 2017 model.
