The 2018 Honda Jazz will hit the Indian market this month. Ahead of its official launch, Team-BHP user 'neeln8' has shared images detailing the variant-wise breakup of features accompanied by another image revealing the new tail light cluster.

Honda has cut down the number of trims on offer to just three - S, V, and VX.

Entry-level E and mid-level SV grades will no longer be available. The number will be trimmed down to three - S, V, and VX. The Jazz petrol CVT variant, which was available in S and V grades only, will be offered in V and VX grades. The entry-level S trim will be restricted to the diesel variant of the Jazz.

New additions to the features of Honda Jazz S include a front centre armrest, speed-sensing auto door lock, rear parking sensors, and driver and co-driver vanity mirror. The V grade gains Honda smart key with keyless remote, start/stop button, smart trunk lock with a keyless release, and cruise control. These are restricted to diesel and petrol CVT variants of the Jazz, however. The Jazz CVT variant also gets paddle shifters.

The range-topping VX grade will come with new features including 17.7 cm touchscreen for the infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice command, and IR remote control. This grade will also feature vertical LED tail lights (see image gallery).

Honda will add new colour options as well. Radiant Red and Lunar Silver replace Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic. Orchid White, Golden Brown, and Modern Steel have been carried over.

The Honda Jazz will continue using the 1.2 L i-VTEC and 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel engines. The petrol variant has a power output of 90 PS and 110 Nm and mates with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The  Honda Jazz diesel has max power and torque outputs of 100 PS and 200 Nm respectively, sent to the front wheel via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Radiant Red and Lunar Silver colour options have been added in place of Carnelian Red and Alabaster Silver.
