2018 Honda StepWGN unofficially revealed ahead of its September launch
The fifth generation Honda StepWGN reached Japanese showrooms in April 2015. A bit over three years later, it is due for a facelift. Honda had released only a teaser of the new model, but Livedoor Blog has now leaked the exterior.
The 2018 Honda StepWGN gets a whole new front-end, which makes the MPV look bigger and bolder. The facelift appears to bear full-LED headlamps with C-shaped LED signature lights and LED fog lights for efficiency. The LED fog lights have honeycomb grille above them and are underlined by chrome trim. The mid-cycle refresh brings new design alloy wheels too.
The Honda StepWGN is 4,690 mm/4,735 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,840 mm/1,855 mm tall. Under the hood, there's the L15B 1.5-litre VTEC TURBO petrol engine that produces 110 kW (150 PS) and 203 Nm of torque. With the facelift, Honda will introduce the SPORT HYBRID i-MMD dual-motor hybrid powertrain option in the StepWGN. The new model will have enhanced safety and driver assistance features with the upgraded Honda SENSING suite.
