2018 Hyundai Creta (facelift) - IAB Rendering
The frequency of sightings of 2018 Hyundai Creta test mules is on the rise as the company gears up to launch the facelifted model next year. Based on recent spy shots, IAB's automotive illustrator has created a rendering of the Hyundai Creta facelift.
The rendering blends the exterior of the Brazil-spec model and the facelift unveiled in China in August with details visible in spy shots. The grille is now larger and extends further down towards the lower air intake. It is quite similar in design to the Brazil-spec Creta, especially the gloss-finish horizontal louvers. Unlike the latest crop of Hyundai products, the grille does not have very pronounced "cascading" design. Like the spy pictures, the rendering also features metallic finish surround for the lower air intake and underside protection. There are also new fog lamp housings present. The headlight detailing, however, remains the same.
Sightings of the 2018 Hyundai Creta have revealed a new 5-spoke alloy wheel design, as well as new taillight graphics. The partially visible alloy wheel design captured in spy pictures is similar to the one worn by the Creta Sport sold in Brazil. Expect more details to surface as the sightings increase over the coming months.
As is the case with Hyundai's mid-cycle refreshes, the interior is not expected to get any major updates. Changes may be restricted to new seat upholstery and a minor rejig of the features list.

Although our sources hinted at a mid-2018 launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift, at this point, an Auto Expo debut in February 2018 may be a possibility.
