What's new?

  • New 'cascading' front grille
  • Shark fin antenna
  • New LED DRLs
  • Dual tone front & rear bumper
  • Skid plates
  • New 17-inch diamond cut alloys
  • Revised split tail lights
  • Wearable 'Smart Key Band'
  • 6-way electrically adjustable driver's seat

The primary reason for the increment in prices, especially that of top-end SX(O) grades, is the inclusion of new features mentioned above. 60:40 split seats and ISOFIX child seat anchorage points are restricted only to the SX AT variants.

There are two new colour options available - Passion Orange and Marina Blue. The former is also available in dual tone form with a Phantom Black roof. Inside, a new Tangerine Orange Interior Colour

Hyundai has stuck with the same engine and transmission options as the retiring model. The 123 PS and 15.4 kgm 1.6 L unit remains the sole petrol engine option available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Diesel variants are available with either a 90 PS and 22.4 kgm 1.4 L unit mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 128 PS and 26.5 kgm 1.6 L unit paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the official fuel efficiency figures have not been declared, Hyundai claims that the new Creta is more fuel efficient by 3% (petrol) and up to 4% (diesel).
