After the Hyundai i20, it’s the Hyundai Creta’s turn to receive its mid-life facelift this year. The 2018 Hyundai Creta was recently spied testing by CarToq reader Ashwin Selva in Chennai.

Spy shots suggest that the 2018 Hyundai Creta would feature minor exterior revisions. On the outside, the 2018 Hyundai Creta is likely to feature a larger 'Cascading' radiator grille, new bumpers, reshaped fog lamps, new 17-inch alloy wheels and tweaked tail lamps. Hyundai may introduce new body colours as well with the facelift. Interior changes may include new trim and upholstery and updates to the MID and the infotainment system for enhanced functionality.

The current Hyundai Creta is available with a 123 PS 1.6-litre Dual VTVT petrol engine, a 90 PS 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine and a 128 PS 1.6-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. All three engines are coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission, but buyers do have a 6-speed automatic transmission option in case of the 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engines. A 4WD system is unavailable in our market. These aspects are expected to remain the same in the facelifted Hyundai Creta.
