Hyundai is giving the Elite i20 a mid-life refresh, which will go on sale early next year. The updated model has been spotted testing on multiple occasions. However, this is the first instance of the interior of the 2018 Hyundai i20 being photographed. The Hyundai i20 facelift interior spy shot comes courtesy adheep.blogspot.in.

Unlike the Hyundai i20 AT variant currently on sale, the one spotted testing has a touchscreen infotainment system.

The spy shot seen here is that of the petrol automatic variant of the Hyundai i20 as evident from the gear selector. It is identical in almost every way to the current model. Even the seat upholstery is the same. We say almost because Hyundai currently offers the i20 AT only in the Magna trim without a touchscreen. However, the test mule pictured here clearly carries a touchscreen AVN. This seems to be the same 7-inch unit available in the top-end Asta(O) spec i20.

The source has shared spy pictures of two test mules of the 2018 Hyundai i20. While one is the i20 petrol AT variant as evident from the 'Auto' badge on the fender, the other is likely to be a higher spec Sportz, Asta, or Asta (O) trim. It is the same test mule that was spotted earlier this week. The new nose section with the updated 'cascading' grille and 10-spoke black alloys are clearly visible in the pictures here. The lack of projector headlamps points towards this being the Asta or Sportz trim.

The updated front fascia will feature a new 'cascading' grille, LED DRLs placed next to the fog lamps. At the back, the 2018 Hyundai i20 sports new taillight graphics and a boot lid mounted number plate.
