2018 Mahindra XUV500 (facelift) new details emerge
The launch of the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 is just around the corner. Less than a week after sharing undisguised images of the exterior of the facelift, Team-BHP has shared some of the changes Mahindra has made to the XUV500 as part of the MY2018 update.
According to a forum member, the Mahindra XUV500 facelift rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the seats get tan leather/leatherette upholstery and the dashboard now features soft-touch plastic trim. The user also mentions that the infotainment system has been upgraded and now has more features. However, these additional features have not been specified.
The latest facelift will bring with it triangular tail lamps, redesigned tailgate with a wider license plate recess, new tailgate garnish and a new roof spoiler with an integrated stop lamp. The nose section will get a new six-slot radiator grille. A horizontal LED DRL strip now sits along with the top edge of the headlamps.
As reported on multiple occasions earlier, the Mahindra XUV500 will receive a minor upgrade in its 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with the facelift. Information that surfaced last week revealed that the maximum power will go up to 150 hp.
