2018 Maruti Ertiga Limited Edition Detailed Walkaround [Video]
Maruti Suzuki may be readying the second generation Maruti Ertiga MPV for India, but that doesn’t mean the current iteration should sit silent and await its relegation to the cab market. YouTube user Ujjwal Saxena has uploaded a video walkaround of a limited edition Ertiga heavily accessorized with parts from Maruti’s official accessory catalogue.
The limited edition model was re-launched in May at INR 7.80 lakh for the petrol and INR 9.71 lakh for the diesel (both ex-showroom, Delhi), thus being INR 13,000 - 14,000 more expensive than the standard ‘V’ trim
The Superior White Ertiga featured is based on the VXI trim level, so most of the exterior bling are optional accessories. For instance, the limited edition Ertiga featured has a slightly bolder chrome treatment for the grille, chrome accents above the fog-lamps, black plastic bumper protectors, 15-inch alloy rims from higher trim levels, body-painted mudguards and side skirts, protective door strips with chrome garnish and a body-painted rear spoiler. Other colours available with the Limited Edition Ertiga include Exquisite Maroon and Silky Silver.
Inside, it features bespoke dual-tone wine red and black faux leather seat covers with diamond quilting and contrast white piping, matching steering wheel cover, faux wood trim for the door panels and centre console, a foldable armrest for the driver, black dashboard and door panels, and a set of cushions. Another accessory equipped is a reverse parking assistance system, which can be a simple set of sensors mounted at the back with an audible warning or a more comprehensive kit with sensors, a camera and a display.

In India, the Ertiga is sold with one of two 4-cylinder engines - a 1.4 L VVT petrol and 1.3 L DDiS diesel. Both come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while the petrol variant can be had with a 4-speed automatic transmission in higher trim levels. That said, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga will feature a 6-speed manual transmission.
