2018 Maruti Ertiga (Maruti YHA) shows its production tail lamps
The 2018 Maruti Ertiga has appeared in spy shots once again, courtesy GaadiWaadi.
The latest spy shots suggest that the next-gen Maruti Ertiga (codename: Maruti YHA) features a redesigned rear bumper and new, wraparound tail lamps with LED lighting and LED high-mount stop lamp. Previous spy shots suggest that the second generation Maruti Ertiga has a longer rear overhang meaning extra space for the third-row passengers.
The next-gen Maruti Ertiga will share the lightweight and rigid Heartect platform with the next-gen Maruti Swift due for launch next month. The new platform should offer improved collision safety, just in time when the BNVSAP norms kick in this October. Whether the 1.4-litre petrol engine will continue or not is unknown, but as for the 1.3-litre diesel engine, a new 1.5-litre diesel engine developed in-house could take its place.

Maruti Suzuki will launch the next-gen Maruti Ertiga in August 2018. The redesigned model will have a crossover variant joining the range next year.
